Soft Washing

Soft washing is the use of water-based, biodegradable chemicals to break down dirt and grime, remove bug nests and webs, kill mold, mildew, algae and bacteria – leaving the surface clean and sterilized.

Soft washing uses only one-third of the water that pressure or power washing does, lasts 4 - 6 times longer, and doesn't wear down or damage the surface like pressure washing often can. Soft washing also does so much more than power washing because it does more than simply clean your roof. The products used in the SoftWash System do not just tidy; they penetrate, sanitize, and eradicate the root of the problem.

Treating your roof with soft washing is more like insect control – the mix of safe, eco-friendly chemicals make sure that the bacteria that cause buildup are not just partly swept away, but eliminated totally.

Roof Cleaning and More

Soft washing can be performed on a wide range of surfaces where algae and bacteria grow. The same bacterium that creates black streaks on roofs can also grow on:

  • Concrete
  • Brick
  • Tile
  • Wood
  • Vinyl Siding
  • Aluminum
  • And more…

If you're searching for a method eliminate what's cultivating on the surface of your roof, deck or fence, break the cycle of irritating power washing and use a solution that can eradicate the problem 100%.

Eco-Friendly, Biodegradable Chemicals in SoftWash

Oftentimes, individuals are afraid of the word "chemicals," however it's really not such a dirty word. In truth, everything is a chemical, even water (hydrogen dioxide).

The chemicals used in soft washing aid in the break down of contaminants and infestations, so they can be quickly rinsed away. They do all the work without all the pressure. Our chemicals are water based, ship non-hazardous, and are biodegradable, meaning they break down into carbon and water within twenty (20) days of their introduction into the environment; leaving no contaminants behind.

4 Biggest Reasons to Soft Wash

There are plenty of reasons to pick soft washing over pressure or power washing, but here are our biggest reasons:

  1. Alternative to pressure washing
Power washing creates erosion and strips away materials that might have been loosened by decay or aging. It may be appropriate for some jobs and not others.

  2. It actually treats the infestation
Your property isn't only dirty – it's contaminated. Regular power washing only gets rid of the outer layer of this growth and does not solve the root of the problem, leaving your surface vulnerable again not long after power washing is finished.

  3. No damage from pressure
Inadequately trained or inexperienced pressure washers can cause serious damage to a roof or other surfaces, specifically if it's older to begin with.

  4. More eco-friendly cleaning option
Power washers use from 3 to 8 gallons of water per minute (gpm). In one hour of washing a pressure washer can utilize from 180 gallons upwards to 480 gallons of water. Alternatively, soft washing just applies approximately 60 gallons of cleaning solution, which is made up of about 40 gallons of water.

The cleaning solution is so effective that it lasts 4 – 6 times longer than pressure washing, making it more viable for the environment and your wallet.
